Terms of use

Short version: the club is free, it runs on people being decent to each other, and you can leave any time. Here are the rules in plain English.

Who runs the club

Lokalhost Club was started by Tony Herrera of Opus Automations, Dumaguete. In these terms, “the club” and “we” mean that.

It's free

Joining and using the club costs nothing, and we don't ask for payment details.

Who can join

If you're under 13, please don't sign up. Join with your own email address, one account per person.

Be decent

Please don't use the club to:

Other members

The club helps people find each other. It doesn't check who members are or promise that what they say or offer is true. Use your own judgment, and take care when you meet someone in person for the first time.

What you write

What you put in your profile (your name, what you're building, what you can help with, what you need) stays yours. By giving it to the club, you let us show it to the club's admins and use it to connect members, as the privacy notice explains. Only share what you're happy for them to see.

If someone breaks the rules

The club's admins can remove a member who breaks these terms.

Leaving

You can leave any time. In My settings, Delete my account removes your details, your devices and your login straight away.

No promises, limited liability

The site is provided as it is, with no warranties. We don't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, or that you'll find the help you're looking for. As far as Philippine law allows, our responsibility for anything that goes wrong is limited, and we aren't responsible for what other members say or do. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Philippine law that can't be waived.

Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, the “Last updated” date below changes. If you keep using the club after that, the new terms apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
